Fundación Iberdrola España Grants
Our programme is channelled through grants to train energy sector and environmental workers.
We develop our grant program through collaboration with leading institutions, pursuing several distinct objectives:
- To support the training of professionals in the energy sector, capable of contributing to the development of a sustainable model that meets society’s energy needs and promotes environmental protection in the countries where Iberdrola has a significant presence.
- To support the incorporation of women into STEM studies.
- To support activities related to the restoration and conservation of Historical and Artistic Heritage, in line with our Art and Culture area.
We collaborate with the following grant programs:
- Fundación Carolina Grants: aimed at university graduates from Mexico or Brazil. These grants allow recipients to pursue master’s studies in Spanish universities in subjects related to energy and the environment.
- Fulbright Grants: two‑year grants that enable recipients to pursue postgraduate studies in the United States in areas related to Iberdrola’s activities.
- Comillas–ICAI Grants: created together with Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICADE‑ICAI, these grants aim to support students who lack the financial resources necessary to continue their undergraduate or master’s studies.
- Spanish Paralympic Committee Grants: designed to improve the professional preparation of athletes in the ADOP program and facilitate their future integration into the labor market.
- Empieza por Educar Grants: since 2011, Fundación Iberdrola España has collaborated with Fundación Empieza por Educar on the STEM 4 GRLS program, promoting STEM careers among girls.
- Restoration Grants at the Prado Museum and the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum: these grants aim to train specialists in the conservation and restoration of heritage.
