Prado Museum Restoration Grants
Fundación Iberdrola España has a close alliance with the Museo Nacional del Prado. We have supported to its Restoration Workshop with training and research scholarships for conservation and heritage restoration specialists since 2010.
We offer our Iberdrola Grants at the Prado Museum Workshop in two areas of specialization:
- Painting Restoration: study and participation in the processes of restoration and conservation of the paintings in the museum’s collection.
- Frame Restoration: study and participation in the processes of restoration and conservation of the museum’s frames.
- Technical Documentation Service: involvement in the processes of image digitization and in preparing material for X‑rays used in pre‑restoration studies.
Since 2010, the Foundation has awarded a total of 36 grants.
